German Beer Girl Adult Costume

This costume is a sexy take on the good old Oktoberfest serving costume. The Oktoberfest is the traditional beer festival held in Munich each year over September and October. Since it has been going for hundreds of years, the costumes of the servers tend to be the traditional dirndl style dress that is famous in Bavaria and throughout the Alpine region.

So the German Beer Girl Costume is your basic dirndl outfit. This means it is a peasant blouse, dress or skirt, bodice and maybe an apron. The dress was originally a servants dress so it fitted in well as a serving type outfit. The idea of the dirndl has since been identified as a cultural aspect of Bavarian and Alpine culture, so the dress has been refined in many ways.

The German Beer Girl Costume has all the aspects of the dirndl but just not as the original makers might have imagined. It includes an extremely skimpy mini skirt in crimson. The skirt has a ruffled lace petticoat that fills the skirt out (This doesn't come with the costume however and you will have to buy it separately). There is a Bavarian style floral pattern to give the skirt a bit of trim. You will also find a little apron in white with a similar pattern.

The bodice and peasant blouse of the traditional dirndl is fitted into the similarly skimpy crop top. The crop top has a black middle with white ruffle shoulder sleeves. Again, the black faux bodice has the Bavarian style floral pattern trim and also a red drawstring that would typically draw the bodice tight round the body (this drawstring is just for show though).

To look exactly like the picture you will also need to get the stockings too. This is sure to make a great impression at the Halloween party or any other fun occasion.
