Who was Fonzie ?

Happy Days was one of the most popular sitcoms in the 1970s.  Fonz, Fonzie, full name Arthur Herbert Fonzarelli, played by Henry Winkler was one of the characters on this show.  Although he started out only having a minor role, due to his popularity and great audience impact, he soon became one of the leading cast members.  He was a star.

Having a James Dean look and feel to him, Fonz was probably one of the most popular guys on television in the 1970s.  This grease monkey was a total chick magnet.  Maybe it was his natural talent of fixing automobiles, maybe it was how such a cool cat could grow so shy in the presence of Mrs. Cunningham, Mrs. C, maybe it was his love for the lone ranger, maybe it was just how darn handsome he was especially in this signature leather jacket.  Whatever it was, this coolamundo dude truly did rule the streets of Milwaukee and the air waves as well.

Happy Days Fonz Costume In Detail

Just as Fonz was a big hit among the women, you too can be a real ladies man with this greaser style costume.  Just as laid back and cool as he was, he'll have the girls in the car hop costumes twisted round his little fingers (or should that be thumbs !) 

It is basically the iconic look from that era- a big black leather jacket, faux leather that is.  But, to make sure that people do not confuse your look with some other guy from the 70s such as the lead in grease or James Dean, this jacket has “The Fonz” printed in white splattered on the back.
